Scheduled for a September 2009 release are these new Chukka Mok’s from the Vans Vault campaign. The kicks feature a more rugged silhouette than classic Chukka Boots with subtle Native American inspiration via the “Mok” toe details and natural slate/black colorways. Expect both next month at select Vans Vault retail accounts.
The Vans Band series continues on with The Pixes as the latest musical entities to get their opportunity to design a small music-friendly collection for Vans. Two models include the SK8-HI and the Slip-On as both feature the same piece of “Death to the Pixies” artwork in monochromatic fashion. Available now at select Vans dealers including ripe.
Finding inspiration within the garments worn by American railroad workers during the “steam” era of locomotion, Vans presents their new Shaffer’s Crossing Collection for the Vault campaign, dubbed after the old train stop in Central Virginia during the glory days of the Norfolk & Western Railroad. This special package features the use of premium wool fabrics paired with high quality full-grain oiled leather and Scotchgard™ treated pig suede. The line has been reinforced in high wear areas and complimented with a supportive, molded footbed. A release is scheduled for September 2009, with the pack boasting six styles in total, three of which include a 46 LX, Chukka Boot LX, and Old School LX, all of which can be seen below.
